Notificator now has an official Node.js SDK

Backend applications can send typed, server-side alerts through the hosted Notificator API without handling platform delivery credentials.

  • Publishes @notificator-project/api as a small server-side package for Node.js 20 and newer.

Broker credentials can be checked without a device message

A dedicated authenticated API request verifies transient HiveMQ Cloud details through a short-lived secure connection.

  • Validates the same HiveMQ Cloud hostname, secure WebSocket endpoint, credential, and topic rules used by device commands.
  • Does not persist credentials, create a notification, publish to MQTT, or require an existing device.
  • Closes the connection immediately and sanitizes broker errors before returning them to the app or logs.

Device status now follows authenticated telemetry

The API updates saved device presence from valid online, heartbeat, OTA, and explicit offline reports.

  • Refreshes the last-seen time when a device reports online or ready.
  • Marks a device down only after an explicit offline or disconnected report.
  • Leaves the last known state intact when a temporary broker status request fails.
  • Supports both Base and Touch model policies without applying Base version rules to preview hardware.

Unread alerts reach the idle clock

The Touch clock now provides a quiet but unmistakable signal when an alert is waiting to be read.

  • Changes the clock time from white to red while the local alert inbox contains unread notifications.

  • Applies the same behaviour to the primary LVGL interface and its safe fallback renderer.
